Midnight Lover

The darkness wraps,
I sink into night,
Reaching but
You're lost from sight.

The sheets enclose,
I'm fighting free,
Waiting till you
Come to me.

The tires crush
The gravel drive,
The door opens
As you arrive.

My heart now pumps,
You climb the stairs,
My nakedness
Drawing new cares.

A stream of light,
Darkness again,
You join me
In the bed and then

My body cannot
Bare the wait,
You meet me
'Sorry I am late'

It matters not,
I hold you close,
Silence words,
Need a new dose.

Moments pass,
We lie in haste,
Your body
Seeking for a taste.

Your tongue on mine,
Our naked flesh,
I can't contain
My need for this.

You enter me,
I feel your pulse,
Sensations send a
Dizzy waltz.

And in the moments
That soon pass,
We are one,
Why can't it last?

Dawn arrives,
You're gone once more,
My heart weeps as
You close the door.

Phew, is it warm in here or is it just me? Short, sharp lines; fairly pulses along at a giddy rate.
Enjoyable and sweat inducing...popping out for a cold shower. ;)

Oh, I thought it was tyres, but it came up with the squiggly red line! I think it's 'tires' in America...
