If I were to have a love
it would necessarily be
Life
all the small things
that add up
the loneliness
is not predominant
just comes along with
being on my own
with life
it may be a rollercoaster ride
but as long as life is by my side
I will see it through
regardless
Good friends to make my day
to blow the blues away
spurring me on
and on and on
filling the gaps
between
idleness
and fruitful pursuits
Life would be the love
of my life

I like the way this poem looks as well as its content.
'Good friends to make my day

This stanza stuck out for me in particular, you need friends and family in this life, couldn't have put your words better myself.
Great job

Very practical common sense. I mean you cannot love anything if you are dead can you? Beautiful philosophy. Thanks for the clarity Pia!
Cheers! Nolan
