parallel with life
terrifying and obscene
homely and secure

thoughts
accompanied by
the sunshine and the rain
the birdsong

parallel with life
it’s all happening outside
this world
of surreptitious living

this is how real it gets
living with parallel thoughts
alone
along
the railway tracks of life

Hi Pia, a very thought provoking piece here Pia, I perticularly like that line:- of surreptitious living. Had to look it up, but now I know, I understand what you mean. You've managed to put down, all the thoughts, that many people experience in one day, me myself included. Jenny.
