For a years time

Starting tomorrow
I must try change
only for one year
then back into me
because I knowing
it's all to prove
I am just myself!

It is not why I yell moo
at cows when we fly past
or why sweetis excite me
as fireworks also do too

It is not any other reason
I chuckle like a big child
and expect animals to talk
and wave at funny vehicles
and wolf down my food hot.

It is just me being me when I
run downstairs to look at sky
and let stressful thing go by
is just the way I do things I
maybe slower and overcautious
and is it too hard that I try

Try to be happy most of the time?
Colour with crayons and eat candy
toothouts ent so bad now trust me
an dentist might give you a lolly
your not just a big kid trying to
stay young your just being myself
next year I'll be one year older.

Hi Kahdai

Of your recent postings this is by far my favourite. I particularly enjoyed:

"It is just me being me when I
run downstairs to look at sky
and let stressful thing go by
is just the way I do things I
maybe slower and overcautious
and is it too hard that I try"

As adults we tend to overcomplicate things, this poem excellently reminds us to nurture the child inside and to let it out whenever the occasion suits.

Good stuff!!
