Compelled to decide
To make clear my desire
Which way do I turn?
To cool water, or fire?
Water may freeze and fierce flame die
And in between, elements’ captive, am I.
Compelled now to tell her
Who I would choose
Though gaining through choosing
I know I’ll still lose.
Should I turn from temptation, to memories stay true?
Should I spurn the sad past and just embrace the new?
How do you choose between summer and spring?
How can you choose when you love everything?

I think this is very good. I think the scansion could be tidied up a little but the last two lines are simply lovely.
