and through my window darkness is falling
pinkness mixed with an orange glow
paints awash the evening sky
a last light delicate splash of colour
all the remains of the day fading away
and through my window cherry trees
in shadow blackness show their timeless
profiles, with them I travel back in time
and in the back yard there are plum tress
an apple tree a maple shedding
its helicopter leaves over hangs
the fence from across the way
but all is quiet there are no polars
or beech trees rustling their leaves
I think are you standing or sitting
is your window open agape or ajar
is your sky the same as mine
through my window I wonder
admiring nature going to sleep

I wish my sky was as beautiful as you describe yours this evening.

Yes I like skies and trees highhat, trees are so timeless I suppose skies are really aswell, I was wondering earlier if that is why the countryside is so appealing to people not just the scenery but the feeling of timelessness as though you may have travelled back in time.
mm like me fatboy :) thought I would just have a little practise.
