Skin on skin,
Little snuffling breaths reassuring me of her presence,
Her legs and arms bunched up, a perfect little package,
Her head resting on my arm, her impossibly soft hair.
Lying on the sofa,
Drifting in and out of snooze,
Gazing out of the window at
The whispering breeze
Through the leaves
Of the sun-dappled trees.
A moment,
An endless moment…
Is there anything more blissful?
