Spring’s arrival is a parade
of icy-chunks
playing jack-o-lantern
in the harbour
their dip and peek from beneath
roiling waves
speak of season’s meltdown.
Through field glasses on
Economy Mountain
I focus upon winter's lingering
stare--
hay fields huddle beneath
the snow
in bewildered disarray
weathered houses
as random sprinkles, crows
deer, a cat
foraging inside my view
and blueberry fields showcase
purple tinges
through masking white.
Abandoning my perch I rush
to join the dance.

A deserving cherry RLP for this picture of Nova Scotia.
Sounds like a really nice place to live.

Thanks so much FB, yes this is a beautiful province. It's only 600 km long, with a population of 900,000. I have some revolving pictures on our website: www.wsprog.com/rp/ in the top right corner. Take care, Richard LP

Thank you ScoZen. It is a lovely place and I am not sorry my wife, Esther and I moved here 26 years ago. All the best, Richard LP
