Cape Breton Highlands

from the ABC set POETRY - A Passage of Motion 2

Curve of scimitar
across edge of ancient sea
where fossils imbed.

From descending cliff to
watery lure
an expanse to somewhere

tickle against the ragged
shoreline

hush from voyeurs above.

The land enters into
a contract
shy sky, camera land

rippling sounds down below.

Thank you, FB. I am trying to change some of my poetry direction. ie to create an impression where folks can read between the lines and add their own content. That is what writing is all about---innovation. Richard LP

Thank you too, Tina. I have tried to hone down any unnecessary descriptions with image teasers in the hope my audience picks up the crumb and flies with it. Richard LP
