The Journey

from the ABC set POETRY - A Passage of Motion 2

of a caterpillar
is a slug of movement
meandering across
the sidewalk
along
depressions in the
asphalt, as
walking
on the moon

furry body
seeking respite
shaded space, or
collection of
leaves, anywhere
to escape
sun’s eyeball of
pursuit.

this poem is like looking through a mega-zoom lens and taking in all those glorious details.
