I love it
steady and sure, this Canada
its early wind towers
spirals in daily spinning
from PEI and NB to scowling mosquitoes
Nova Scotia sends us clapping and
sword dancing to tunes
from days ago, of Hector, a ship of dreams
arriving in Pictou back when this
country called for settlers---
and they came.

Lovely poem - I could here Joni Mitchell playing in the background. :-)

Delightful.
"...Nova Scotia sends us clapping and
sword dancing to tunes..."
Reminds me of the Highland games, tartan and bagpipes.
