I used to love those packs of chocolate cigarettes,
You could get them from the shop down the road,
The packet looked so similar to your twenty silk cut purples,
And I would open it and take a chocolaty stick out,
Then rest it carefully between my index and middle finger,
And I would hold it at an angle away from my face
Before bringing it to my lips,
Letting it hang there,
The way you did,
But without the smoke,
Without the fire,
I would eat a little piece every time I brought the chocolate stick back to my mouth,
And it would slowly disappear,
Just like your silk cut purple,
Just like you.
