I'm a 31-year-old Black Country girl. I write in the chicklit genre and set almost all my stories in the good old Black Country, whence I hail, a very underused location for fiction, I feel. I have completed three novels: Classmates, a nostalgia-fest set in the 80s (great fun to write); All the Rage, the tale of a girlband; and Gap Year, set in a village very like the one I grew up in. I write in the chicklit/humour genre, My main ambition is to make it into print and become a full-time author. At present my job as secretary to a divorce lawyer pays the bills (though I do enjoy work).
