Tony Bennett is my pen name for now, until such time as I decide to unveil myself. I came across this site via a friend of mine who writes, and was reminded of the poetry I wrote back at school, when I was rebelling (in a very academic way) against the idea that poetry was written to be analysed to death by English Lit students. Most if not all of my poems were written for no reason other than they sounded good to me. The subject matter was chosen for what I thought could come of it rather than a deep sense of need.
