Story, Poem and Inspiration Point of the Week

Philip Sidney wins the story honours this week for this wonderfully transporting piece 'Ghost Hunting In New England':

and many of you will know that I'm a sucker for nature poetry especially that's inspired by the wonder of bird life.  The poetry prize goes to MJG for an almost flawless piece 'Murmuration'.

finally this week's inspiration point:

poetry or prose based on the theme 'eavesdropping'.  As always the widest interpretation is encouraged.

Good luck everyone!

for the cherries and pick of week, makes a lovely end to mine... MJG

Thank you from me too, a lovely surprise.

Congrats to the both of you.

Scratch,

Whilst I think you are doing a wonderful job share with insert I can't forget poor Daniel's predicament.  To leave him in the clutches of those awful people doesn't bear thinking about.  I know you are busy but spare a thought for Daniel please.

Moya

D'you know what Moya, now things have settled down with the editing on here (remember it's not just me and insert) and the MA is under control I was thinking about Daniel myself.

I'll have a look at it this afternoon (boy's swimming club am) and put a couple of chapters up for opinion.

Thanks for caring!
