Unfold the layers of tissue;
Muscle, veins, cartilage
and then, unveiled, the bruised chalk bones.
Soul molten,
oblivious of mind’s morass.
Damage driving deep
to the core of matter,
hidden in a cavernous look.
The sensational stormy horizon
left loneliness behind with gusts of wind and raindrops.
I looked at you and saw
a jigsaw puzzled expression
of bewilderment.
Our match was struck by denial.
I was struck by you,
falling, falling.
Believing nothing was true
I let the distance
pace me while my inner hurricane
blew my brain free of webs,
indefinite fibres
from ear to ear,
from my crown to the sole of my bare feet.
You kept your distance and let me feel
the longing for your alleyways of compassion.
The tallest tree would never speak of heaven
the way the sparkle of words on your lips
raised the moment to erratic romance.

I call love my 'infinite tsunami'. Dangerous, awe inspiring, exposing and ultimately so revealing of ones true nature. I feel something from this piece.

I like this poem. It's kind of a mind expanding poem, using language in interesting new ways. I especially liked the line, "a jigsaw puzzled expression" because it provokes you to think about its meaning.
I like the beauty in
"The sensational stormy horizon
left loneliness behind with gusts of wind and raindrops."
I also like how it's neither positive nor negative but more relishing the experience of love both happy and sad.
