We were on the edge of our seats
for 19 days
Won’t they give you your freedom?
Such power
being transmitted through
the media
On television, in the newspapers,
on internet, Aljazeera,
Updates every 5 minutes.
Events developed from one minute
to the next.
Violence and peace.
Victims and hundreds of
thousands of heroes.
We caught our breath.
We cried and we rejoiced.
Now we will never forget
The hope you have sown
in hearts by your fearless
struggle .

Yes there was so much power in the news at the time and it was so good to feel it as an outsider.
