Wednesdays are like album tracks
you want to skip past
to get to Friday.
We always went dancing on bank holidays
it started one Easter Monday when I thought
well we've both got the day off work, so I texted you
and put on my best shirt.
On the day of the Royal Wedding we will be at Gatecrasher
our arms in the air.
Days of the week are like a bag of Revels
different flavours, but when you eat so much of them
they all taste the same
but sometimes life is different
everyone remembers the day there was a dog in the playground
or switching on the TV to find rolling news.
Sometimes you get to work and everything is normal
until you realise this isn't a Wednesday
it's a remix.

Totally know what you mean about the revels but surely you can't include the orange one - saturday is the orange one. Agree with leejmavin about the the flow of this - very much enjoyed.:-)
