I Can Remember

I can Remember
The first time that we met
It's in my head
That's where it's set
The feeling in my stomache
The grin on my face
In your arms I wanted to race
I didn't want to admit to this emotion
i just thought it was such a silly notion
The picture I had drawn in my head
It had nothing to do with what was said
It was what I had seen in your eyes
The way you talked, walked, and your smile
It left me with a sigh
I promise this is no lie

I wrote this poem because of my emotions at the time that my boyfriend and I started seeing each other, I fell for him in every which way. Darrell is an amazing man with the greatest heart, and personality.
