"Sinz of a Deadbeat Dad"

Everything was going well until my girl told me she was going to have a baby,

So you can't really blame me for kinda acting a little crazy,

I said "he wasn't mine" I called your mom a "slut",

We were only fifteen in the tenth grade I tried making her give it up,

But she didn't she decided to keep you raise you and full,

No offense but I thought all this was just a bunch a bull,

I thought she was trying to wreck my life,

When your a kid in high school you dont think about having a wife,

A few months later she was having mood swings left and right,

One minute we were making love the next minute we were having a fight,

Then the big day came and I was feeling a little jittery,

I had the stroller on 24's with gold plated rims looking all nice and glittery,

But then I thought about my life and how bad your life would be so I did wat was best,

I put five hundred dollars in the stroller picked up and left,

But I never thought my son would be so tall,

Graduate from high school and be going to college in the fall,

My son you did it you acclomplished something most men only dream of,

Its like god sent you down here as a gift from above,

I hugged my son as a tear fell down my cheek,

And said to him i finished now its your turn to speak,

My son thought for a minute and finally said,

In a tone that made me wish I was dead,

"I was raised by my single mother",

"And I have love for her like no other",

"I liked your version but let me tell you mine",

"And I'm sure you won't find this way so devine",

"What if i was to leave you, what if i was your dad",

"And have you cry every night for the father you never had",

"Mom told me about that stroller she also told me it got stolen the minute you left",

"And that five hundred dollars you said you left me ----- that was a check",

"Your words were nice but do you want to know the truth",

"The truth is that I never needed you",
