MEMEMEMEMEMEMEMEFM
If you want to hear me make a complete arse of myself (again) tune in to ME FM (105.8) tomorrow between 3pm-4pm.
Or listen to the internet broadcast on www.mefm.co.uk
I'll be reading old old poems and playing old old music that only Missi, Tony and Stormy will sing along to.
I'm the guest on 'Lola's Hour'.
ME FM is a multi-ethnic radio station operating in Aberdeen during the month of May each year. It's a community enterprise thingy - don't expect any slick presenting. My brief is to read poems, play music and laugh.
There's someone ranting on about Bannockburn at the moment.
For those who missed the result - Home win for Scotland.
i shall be tuning in ... i have seen his record collection ...
Is the station linked to the Internet, Hitch?
ta, fish!
perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned the music.
Or the poetry.
Shelagh,
www.mefm.co.uk
Cripes!
Only 2 hours to go.
Ed, did go back and noticed you'd already mentioned the link! Duh!
Been having all kinds of problems connecting though. Can't seem to link to program. You must currently be in the middle of thing, too.
Never did manage to hear you. Hope it went well.
Shelagh,
It appears that the internet link wasn't working - several of my friends said they couldn't get access. I've been promised a recording of the session.
I'll send you a copy as soon as I can. I mentioned ABC Tales twice, too.
Ho hum etc.
Can I have a copy too? I didn't get in until 3.30 (mrs S. insisted upon kicking my arse at golf) and I couldn't connect either, much to Outfit's disgust, having been forcibly removed from the Internet Chair.
I tried without success to find a link, Eddie. I'd like to hear it as well if at all possible.
Thanks for the interest.
I'm waiting for the tape / CD.
I'll get copies to all who requested one,
plus some promised extras to Shelagh.
