Mayday Hospital

It all started when I was five years old, I woke up from the night and climbed in mummy and daddy’s bed and complained of an ear ache. Mum spoke “we will go see the doctor in the morning” so we did, they gave me ear drops and a week later I went on holiday to Spain with the family, on the plane my ears popped and I screamed “OUCH!” all my hearing went funny and a loud beeeeeeeep noise went off in my ear for at-least ten minutes, I explained this to mum and dad and they did not understand. 8 years later, year 8 in school my intellect was going down heel and I was getting thrown out of class for saying I couldn’t hear and they said I was being disruptive. So I went to the school nurse and explained I couldn’t hear even sitting at the front and I was getting frustrated in having to lip-read people and concentrate 24/7, I was then referred to the hospital...

DAY 1 – Mayday University Hospital,
Leading up to this day, I read so many stories about mayday and they were not good, but I forced myself until I read a good one but didn’t actually come across this. I arrived at the hospital at 8:05 and my appointment was at 8:20, we (mum + me) caught the bus before the one expected. “Hello, I’m Mr Knight, your surgeon” he spoke in a mean deep voice, at this time my mind was running around going “ENT, ENT, what you doing in ENT” he then looked into my ears and spoke the words INFECTION, I was not pleased. Mr Knight gave me ear drops and we were on our way.
