ABCtales.com March newsletter
Dear ABCtalers,
There's been so much great new content and so many great new writers on the site that it's hard to know where to begin. I guess Story of the Week ([http://www.abctales.com/node/546293]) and Poem of the Week
([http://www.abctales.com/node/546293]) are always good place to start.
It also appears that the silliness that occasionally crops up on the Forums has just about stopped. Hurrah!
We've just done a new deal with e-tribes, our blogging site partners, and their new site will be ready soon. I'll give you details in the next newsletter.
Our new sister site, [http://www.booktribes.com], is coming on leaps and bounds. You can win a copy of David Mitchell's new book, Black Swan Green every
single day this month just by writing the best review of the day. Loads of ABCtalers have won already so get on over there and get your book!
A great new feature has just been added to Booktribes. It is now able to give you some great recommendations as to your next reading. It looks at the books you love, finds members who also love those books and works out what they like
and you haven't read. The results are interesting to say the least. You have to list 20 books to get your list - that takes a very little time indeed!
As an ABCtales member all you have to do to register with Booktribes is put in your ABCtales user name and add @abctales.com - then just use your ABCtales
password and you're off and running.
Also check out the Literary news and events on Booktribes. It's updated every day and has a heap of interesting information.
Back with ABC, I got an interview with Bob Young, the guy who founded the self publishing empire, lulu. It's up on the ABCtales front page. You can read it here:

Keep writing and keep reading. These are good times for ABCtales so help us to spread the word, get all your friends and relations to sign up and together
we'll develop a fantastic resource for writers and readers.
A big thankyou to those of you who gave us a donation after the last newsletter - it really helps. If you haven't done so yet and feel that you can then just click on the Donate button on the front page.
Thankyou,
Tony Cook and the ABCtales team
