London night December 11th and much more
Dear ABCtalers,
It's been a while since I wrote to you and your collective brilliance has shone through even more of late. The standard of much of the writing on ABCtales.com is exceptional and I thank you for it. Check out our Stories and Poems of the Week at:

If you want to hear some of the best of our work read live and to meet some of your fellow ABCtalers then please do come to our next get together in London on Tuesday December 11th. We will meet upstairs at the Wheatsheaf, 25 Rathbone Place, London W1T 1JB at 7 pm. Nearest tube is Tottenham Court Road. Many of us will be there from 6 pm onwards so do come along and join us. It's great to meet your fellow ABCtalers and we do welcome newcomers warmly.
If you would like to read then please email me as soon as possible at tcook@abctales.com. Those who have not read before will be given priority. Entry is £4 on the door (£2 concessions) and all profits go to The Railway Children charity.
ABCtales.com survives on your donations - so many thanks to all of you who have given in time (as Editors and our wonderful techie) or money. You are our lifeblood and without you we could not carry on. There is a donation button on the right hand side of each page. If you haven't used it before then please consider doing so if you can afford to give a little.
Our writers are continuing to thrive. Chelsey Flood's first novel 'Infinite Sky' is out on Valentine's Day under the name C.J. Flood. It's already causing a major stir and you can pre-order your copy from Amazon. Now you know what to order for your loved one come the day!
Don't forget Jennifer Pickup's wonderful first book 'Unbelievable' from Unbound. Buy your copy here if you haven't done so already: http://www.best-book-price.co.uk/Product-266239/1908717068-Unbelievable....
I'd also like to flag up our Critiquing Service from Lorraine Mace. It's a very good deal and everyone who has used it so far has given very good reports. If you want professional feedback on your work then here is an excellent place to start: http://www.lorrainemace.com/index_files/abctales.html
The recent Poetry pentathalon has been a great success. Congratulations go to Bear, sonora and ItsSteveDave for their Gold, Silver and Bronze positions. Do go and read the entries on the special forum at: http://www.abctales.com/forum/64
Many, many thanks go the Wilky Bar Kid for organising it and we'll do it all again soon I hope.
Do join us on Facebook and Twitter. I put up a recommendation most days for a story or poem and loads of people love it. We're at ABCtales.com on Facebook and @tcookabctales on Twitter.
Here's hoping to seeing lots of you on the 11th in London!
All the very best,
Tony Cook and the ABCtales team
