Nottingham Event Sept 5th and ABCtales book

Just a reminder that we will be in Nottingham on Saturday September 5th (that's probably today if you're a regular person and don't spend all night reading emails!) Here's the gen: Do join us for the ABC Tales Reading Event in Nottingham. Saturday 5^thSeptember at 7pm, The Cross Keys, 15 Byard Lane, Nottingham, NG1 2GJ. It’s a great reading line up, including Blackjack Davey, Johnshade, Philip Sidney, airy fairy, Bear, Scratch, London Calling, Luigi Pagano, Denzella, Lisa H.  Entry is £5 (£3 concessions) and readers get in for free. All proceeds go to the charity, The Railway Children.  It promises to be an evening full of literary treats and laughter, look forward to seeing you there..

I'd also like to urge you to go out and buy a copy of ABCtaler Lavadis's book. His real name is Laurie Avadis and his book is entitled 'Ex'. Get it directly from the publishers Unbound.co.uk or order it from your local bookshop or from your local bookstore. Laurie is a lawyer who specialises in the cases of children in care. This book is about a 30 stone policeman who is intent on murdering his son. It's funny - and then you stop and wonder why on earth you are laughing at some so awful. It's poignant, it's thought provoking and it's very, very well written. Go buy it, read it, and spread the word. This is a book that deserves a massive audience. It got published on the back of its popularity on ABC tales and it really deserves your support.
