Unbelievable and Two ABCtales nights - London and York

Dear ABCtalers,

I trust the summer has been good to you despite the indifferent weather and as we look towards the closing-in of the nights we have three good things to which you can look forward:

1) Jennifer Pickup's 'Unbelievable' is out! This is the first result of the link-up between crowd funding publishers, Unbound, and ABCtales. There's a book signing in Trowbridge on Saturday 25th August between 11 am and 2 pm to go along to if you are anywhere near - but please do go into your local bookshop and order a copy or go here for the cheapest available internet deal: http://www.best-book-price.co.uk/Product-266239/1908717068-Unbelievable....

Full details are here:

2) ABCtales London evening on Tuesday September 11th - upstairs at The Wheatsheaf, 25 Rathbone Place, London W1T 1DG commencing at 7pm. We already have some people booked to read - including the wonderful Maggy van Eijk - but there are spaces still for other readers. Please email me at tcook@abctales.com. Priority will go to those who have not read previously. Entry is £5 (£3 concessions). Do come along and bring some friends. These are relaxed, lovely evenings where I guarantee you will meet some friendly people and put faces to names you know well on here already.

3) ABCtales York evening on Friday 21st September - upstairs at The Black Swan, 23 Peasholme Green, York YO1 7PR commencing at 6.30 pm. Again we have some readers booked but there is plenty of space for more - just email me at tcook@abctales.com and usual prices etc. apply.

Don't be shy about asking to read - I think that without exception everyone who's done it has found it to be a rewarding and pleasant experience. Our audiences are supportive and appreciative!

That's about enough for one newsletter - so go out and buy Unbelievable and do try and come along to one of our September evenings.
