A friend sent me this: European Council Directive 1004/3c In order to meet the conditions for joining the Euro the phrase "spending a penny" is not to be used after the 31st December, 2001. From this date the correct terminology will be ' Euronating '.

no tanks. I go to europe every year to absorb the flavour and differences of culture. It needs to stay that way.
