Desperately Seeking...writers, readers and listeners

Telltales, the successful reading and writing night in Falmouth, Cornwall is looking for readers for its April event.

The monthly reading night was launched in October 2008 and is fast building a following from writers across the county. It was set up as a way of developing the writing community in Cornwall and providing a space for writers to read out their work to a receptive audience.

To keep things interesting each monthly event or ‘volume’ is themed and readers are invited to submit work loosely related to that theme in some way.

The next volume of Telltales, Volume VI: Desperately Seeking, kicks off at 7pm on the 28 April, at Babahogs cafe in Falmouth – you can bring your own alcohol (£1.00 corkage) or drink your fill of the tea, coffee and soft drinks on sale.

And if you’d rather use your ears than your mouth, that’s fine too – listeners are just as important as readers at Telltales.
