Until I started to try and write 'shorts, I hadn't appreciated how difficult and skilfull it is. I liked this piece - you had said so much by saying so little and yet, as a whole, the writing is very evocative. The ending paragraph is strong and atmospheric. I enjoyed it. Ty SSS
