Yesterdasy
Does anybody know what this means? It cropped up in conversation with a verbally challenged lady friend this afternoon, and I didn't have the heart to ask her.
Perhaps her pc was playing up. Maybe she needed to rebopot it?
What does Whoops a daisy mean?
qwe all make slips of the keyboard at times... dont be too hard on her.
But Mississippi-me-mate, can she bake blueberry muffins? Sod the spelling.
Shacky, when it comes to any sort of muffin this lady is COOKIN' !
I think "yesterdasy" is a combination of "yesterday" and "whoops a daisy". You say it after you made a faux pas when inebriated the previous night, slept with someone you shouldn't have - that sort of thing. It's best delivered in a singsong voice while lightly slapping your own wrist.
*reads with eyes wide and imagination running amok! ***** how could you?*
all my troubles seemed so far awasy
there were films then starring Patrick Swayse
and songs by hazy fantazy..
oh I believe in yestyerdasy
YestYERdasy???
Anyway, wouldn't it be spelt yesterdaisy.
Let's get all those rhymes out the way: crazy, lazy, praise me, chez Lee.
Chase me, Bassy Stacy.
And so on.
I think Patrick Swayse and Hayzy Fantazy are of a much higher level of poetry than the obvious.
chase me?
Bassy Stacy?
Rhyming?
oh and Yestyerdasy...we were discussing typos....think about it..higher up the thread...go on gave a look.
Half rhyme? Intelligent rhyme?
Anyhow, I assumed Missi meant talking verbally (hence the "verbally challenged" comment) but I'm probably wrong for obvious reasons.
didn't Stanley Unwin use to use the word "yesterdaisy" ?
I am not that old - I am not that old - honest I am not .......
