Eddie Gibbons New Poetry

Just received both of hitchaiku's published volumes, but urge ABC readers to take a look at his latest, The Republic of Ted.

We have already read the stunning Pageant, since Eddie posted it, but I was very moved, felt tearful, reading other of these powerful poems, especially Camera Obscura, Dire Morphine 2 and Don't Phone From Work.

He's long since back now. He had a fab time, he tells me.

brit, I cant agree enough. I too have both volumes, Stations of the Heart is very very good, but the Republic of Ted, is an absolutely beautiful book. Eddie is in NYC at the moment, doing all manner of literary stuff, but I know that he'd thank you for flagging this up, so I'll do it on his behalf...

So that's why he asked me if I ever go to New York! Do you have contact info for him there? A phone number, place he's staying? It's only three to four hours away from me.

fish, I would too, if I could catch up with him. Did e-mail, leaving my phone number, in case he's checking for messages. No response as yet. He's probably being squired around in a whirlwind, though.
