Still a novice on this site

I am gradually getting the idea of letters and sets. I have read some stories that have great potential but when I press the rate it button nothing happens. Is this my problem or is it simply not in use?

We hope to have the new all singing, all dancing site up and running very soon. It is in the very final stages of development and is almost set to go. Then everything will work! Woo Hee!
