Virgin to ABC!

We are advised by professionals to keep our 'purple prose' to a minimum to maintain clarity of thought and therefore our writing.

As an enthusiast of 'purple prose' myself, I am keen to here peoples views.

I am in the initial stages of throwing any old balony together, 'purple naturally' in the hope that I will have sufficient material to collate/cut/juggle when I'm ready to begin putting an article together.

Has anyone tried this method? Will it work? Am I wasting my time, should I return to more convetional methods?

Look forward to talking to my new friends @ ABC.

Purple Prose.

Go for what works for you. The main thing is to write - and keep writing! That's the thought behind ABC - it allows you to post stuff up and then refine it once it is in the public domain. If you get involved in the Discuss Writing from ABC forum and suggest opinions on others work you will then get a good reaction when you ask for reaction on yours. The main thing is: just do it! Best of luck and welcome to ABC. Yours, The Chief Exec.
