UK Online writing competition (low value prizes)

The Brighton and Hove libraries are running an online writing competition, which is open to all. The highly original themes for the two stories are 'libraries' and Brighton and Hove', respectively.

'Hello all, just to let you know we are launching 4word , our online short story competition, tomorrow (20th April). 2 stories have been started by Peter Guttridge, and competition entrants are invited to take the story forward every fortnight by writing the next 500 word installment. All entries are submitted via the library website. The competition will run until October, and the winner of each stage will receive a £20 book token.
