Help is at hand

From The Guardian today:

"A broadband service aimed at the over-50s was launched with the backing of Help the Aged today.

The package includes a customer support telephone line staffed by experts aged 50 and over."

Just thought I'd mention it in case Pesky or Fish still tune in........

Oh this sounds great. Not only won't they be able to help you, now they can be slower about not helping you.

That's the trouble with you youngsters today, no respect for your elders. If I were 20 years younger I'd launch a denial of service attack on your ISP.
At last, someone to talk to about Merseybeat and Wagon Wheels. If you want to buy my book, visit my blog: http://whatisthisstrangeplace.blogspot.com/
hox I THINK YOU NEED TO SHOUT A BIT LOUDER FOR PESKY AND FISH TO HEAR
Tom, I've got some original copies of Merseybeat. Want me to scan them for ya? Martin, You will have to shout extra loud for fishie to hear you - the organisers of the Aberdeen Wordfringe Festival have dished out loadsa dosh to be graced by Her Presence, Enigma Bar, Belmont Street, 8.30 pm Tuesday May 16th. With Eddie Gibbons and Eric Swanepoel. Will ABC Tales provide a bus for all you Southofwatford types?
Now here's another thought - When I represented ABC Tales at the Bloomsbury Theatre I waived my airfare expenses from Aberdeen to London. Will ABC show willing to support a programme of three ABC Talers in Aberdeen by sponsoring Fishie's airfare? We will distribute any ABC publicity literature you care to send. Fare's Fair? Eddie.
I was thinking more about the music, Hitch. Such is old age, I'd forgotten about the magazine. *Walks off slowly. Sings along with the Redcaps: "I don't want your money, I don't want your gold, all I want is a love that's true, all I want is you . . ."* If you want to buy my book, visit my blog: http://whatisthisstrangeplace.blogspot.com/
I'll take that as a 'no' then, Tony.
I renewed my car insurance yesterday - through Age Concern. I've saved six pounds a month on their "over 50s" only policy, so why I am feeling depressed? I think I'll blow this months six quid on a nice bottle of sherry.
I'd rather have a nice port and lemon. If you want to buy my book, visit my blog: http://whatisthisstrangeplace.blogspot.com/
