Frainch cinema

I’ve just watched some of ‘The Portuguese Nun’ – crashingly brill title! This experiernce has reminded me of how much I lerve french cinema. It’s juist all that randon and bizarre dialogue that does my head in. Of course, the haute couture is totally flawless, but that’s another matter. So anyone for a french dialogue. Here’s a starter for dix: ‘La vie est un bateau guidé par le vent de destiné.' Oo 'Vous avez les yeux comme les oiseaux attraversant un ciel de Maroc.’ (‘Xcuse my franglais)

you have eyes like birds in a moroccan sky? i cant get what 'attraversant' is. M'aide! ps i was watching a film called Le Boucher on a free dvd last night and remembered how good subtitled films can be. attraversant? i only know schoolboy french.

good point. I think it means 'crossing'? I think I was channelling this Frainch geezer, so wasn't sure meself.
