Latest Tomato Update
Just to bring you all up to speed.
It seems, now that the last tomatoes have been eeked from the proverbial corners of the earth, this years harvest is only down 30%, a lot fairer than first feared. It seems the prices may have leveled off, and my own supply of 35 tins may see me through. Now thanks for all those who have said they were thinking of me when they were cursing the prices of tomatoes in "Safeway" . It is most touching. Thanks even more to those who heeded my advice and smirked everytime they steered their trolley past the tomatoes and onto the tinned sweetcorn without a second glance.
