Do they really? How odd. Why would they bother wandering down to the overcrowded shop to buy a ticket? I don't even bother to do that, and I haven't even won...

are they counting the ones who win a fiver or whatever it is these days ... i don't know i don't play the lotto very often and certainly have never won ....

Nope is from facts about jackpot winners...others are... For a fifth of big winners, the USA is their favourite holiday destination (doesn't that say alot!) Almost 87% of winners were employed when they won, yet now just 27% of those still work (probably why they need to continue playing) One in seven jackpot winners has given £1 million or more to a family member or friend (perhaps I need to make several thousand more friends.)

I also need to concentrate more whilst revising for extremely important exams...and not waste time on stupid national lottery website!

How do they know what percentage of previous winners still play? The lottery is anonymous unless you claim a big prize.
