I bought Kirsty Kathryn Simmonds' 'Snug' for Christmas last year! She's excellent. You can get it in Ottakar's, I think. Used to go to UEA, I believe.
Also, maybe not so 'new', but I picked up the selected poems of Fleur Adcock the other day, and I think she'd be right up your street, span.

However, I perhaps mistakenly think of her and conjure... flowery.
Is that very wrong?
