I just wanted to flag this up, as I've noticed stephen_d is busy writing again, for which I'm glad. Keep going! I like this; I get a sense of linoleum floors and peeling paint. Some of the images might be 'tightened' a bit, and I'd lose the last, explanatory stanza. No need to explain, just show! And what does it smell like, I wanna know?
