Writer, humorist, I live in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, run a couple of websites, and have published a factual history Ebook covering the Dark Ages to the Vikings, which I am currently looking to have professionally edited.  This is with the proceeds of the sales, which were only outsold by te great Michael Wood and his BBC backed books. 

I publish under the name John Ashtone, and have a website to feature my stuff.

I also have pending, a book on Aethelflaed Lady of the Mercians, and her father Alfred the Great, plus her nephew Aethelstan, it is to be called 'England's Foundation' and basically shows how it was these three who built England, and Aethelflaed being a woman has nearly been written out of history.

I am currently working on a couple (but it might be three) books about the Magna Carta.

I also have written a book on starting and running a business. 

I have previously written a novel a thriller, which (time permitting) I shall re-edit and resubmit to get an agent.

I have travelled a little, hitch hiking around Europe in my youth and also going to India a few years back for a month travelling using local transport, all good fun. 

I am still paying off the debts I ran up as a Newsagent, paying the rent and staff wages, but I kept my house, hence why I didn't declare bankrupt.  One query do I get to vote for the next President of USA, as I have paid a stack in Taxes, No taxation without representation, that they banged on about in 1776.

So pretty boring really.
