Great words to depict a forest scene on a cold February day.

I really liked

full of stipply falling feathered ice

which is such a good way to describe snowflakes.

Nice one Di!

Hello Jenny.

I love visiting other countries and meeting their people. Speaking a different language just makes the conversations more of a challenge. Trying to make myself understood always generates a bit of laughter. I can appreciate,...

Poor Laird!

I remember having job interviews. They were always awful, even when I was successful. Your story brought back a lot of memories of feeling terrified, embarrassed, drained, unemployable and grudge bearing ... but in a loving way...

I'll add a little background information too if I may ...

The Devil's Throat Cave in the...

Ah, the magic of the pebble.

Posted on Sun, 30 Jan 2022

Ah, the magic of the pebble. I have one from a river in Ireland where I used to play when I was a kid. I used to carry it with me everywhere in my pocket but I stopped when I moved to Bulgaria to live. Probably because I feel at home again....

I've never heard of this bird

Posted on Tue, 25 Jan 2022

I've never heard of this bird either.

Your words give an excellent description of it's habitat so I will know to look out for one if ever I am in the right place.

This is an enjoyable and interesting read.
