Story of the Week goes - after a lot of thought, because everyone seems to be on a roll at the moment - to the latest chapter of Eric Marsh's Amanderella Gottsnobbler series. It's fun, it's brilliantly written, it's a children's story that has so much in it for adults as well. The poets have also been making life difficult, what with being so good and all, but Rhiannonw's 'I heard the cuckoo sing today...' really seems to capture a beautiful moment, hopefully a herald of balmier days ahead. It's our Poem of the Week.
