Story and Poem of the Week, with Inspiration Point
posted by di_hard
Thank You so much to everyone who has posted this week, giving ABCTales such a wonderful variety of quality writing!
Here is a tiny selection :
Eric Marsh continues to share a chapter a day, of both his latest fabulous Witch of the Dark Forest, and Amandarella stories. This week Amandarella has ventured North and found an archeological challenge. The characters encountered make me think of P.G. Wodehouse. If you haven't yet checked out this author, please do. For example :

I can vouch for the horrible accuracy of Makis's very funny account of pot scrubbing, which is highly recommended :

Story of the Week is another part of Soulfire's beautiful study of a self made family of skate-boarders. These tales always bring a sense of hope, clarity and the best of being human : https://www.abctales.com/story/soulfire77/less-miserables-keep-secret-3
Yutka's dreamy allegory is fabulous :

Completely different, but also highly recommended, this vibrant, joyful poem from juancarlos : https://www.abctales.com/story/juancarlos/small-man-ballad
Poem of the Week is Turlough's moving tribute to a friend and the country which made her :

Wishing you all a lovely weekend!
