Recap!
Took a few weeks off..
I have ridden and bent a motorcycle or two in my youth. A semi once turned left from the right lane/shoulder in front of me. There ensued almost 5 seconds of frantic braking and a few expletives.. Ended with me gently laying the bike down on her side as the driver checked his mirror and saw me, apparently for the first time in his somewhat distracted life! No harm, no foul but some good cardio work..
The first time I had a car wreck everything seemed to move around me. As though I saw it happen but it was over before I could react. As I developed my skill set at getting moving machinery into unconventional trajectories, I found I could more actively participate in the experience. There are stories of race car drivers sliding down the track on their roof during a wreck still trying to steer.. Things just seem to slow down after the first few times and one can appreciate, if perhaps not enjoy, the experience more fully.
The past few months of this exercise have been more like the first wreck. By choice I’m not trying to steer or maneuver. The course is set and I’m just skidding along on cruise control. Don’t get me wrong, I want to steer, I knew I would.
Had a few strong gains on the week, probably the first time since starting this program in fact. Still below the 50% loss line but hope springs eternal in the heart of the penny stock investor!

Week 15
I see a welcome overall gain this week! High Tide did a ten to one reverse split recently, Humble had done the same a few weeks earlier. While this produces an immediate gain in the stock price, it often fails to endure. HMBL was bumping along at $0.84 last week. There appears to be an overall uptick in the market and I’m hoping I’ve finally found a floor to build on for the remainder of this experiment!
