Is Double-Clicking Still a Thing?

MacBook Neo arrived, all citrus green and lickable. Had pre-emptively bought the new USB-C power adaptor when I was swithering about upgrading iPhone7, no new Apple tech ships with USB-C power adaptors.  What a ripoff.  Neo arrives fully charged though, and starts itself up when you open the lid.  Got three months free of Apple TV and Music, not interested in the three months of games.  I have experiments to be getting on with.  Am currently playing every Kate Bush album. Wish I could just multi-select and play them consecutively, rather than auto-playing something Apple music picks when each album finishes.  (It chooses ‘Tears for Fears’. Nope).  Meanwhile, am in super-ranting mode regarding apps.  There is not a banking app for my bank for MACs.  Only for iPhones and iPads.  Bank recently updated their app, without asking customers how they use it; we are not all happy banking on phones, AI developers.  So now it only shows in portrait on the iPad.  I don’t have banking or wallet cards on my iPhone.  It’s a boomer thing.  We’re sensible and anyway, our iPhone7s have pre-Cambrian software that can’t download stuff.  Asked AI customer service when the bank updates online statements, it said it couldn’t answer as there were ‘too many words’.  Asked it to put me through to a human who can handle words.  Sainsbury’s are changing their app, removing the shopping list, which admittedly, I also used for the Home Bargains items I intend to buy cheaper than in Sainsbury’s, but that’s not the point.  They didn’t ask.  They did ask for feedback though, so I had a ball.

MacBook Neo is lush, so speedy that my eyes feel like Tom’s eyes look when Jerry hits him over the head with a blunt implement.

Had to Google how to double-click.
