Settings, or How to Waste 15 Minutes

Am of the opinion that British Bloke Siri (BBS) is a Virgo.  If you happen to swear when frustrated that BBS has gone off on some tangent not remotely connected to what you just asked, BBS says ‘I don’t respond to that’.  Defence rests.  I rarely ask Siri anything. I don’t like its attitude, like it wants to tut and sigh before answering.

In satisfyingly time-wasting manner, MacBook Neo has additional Siri accents; Australian, American, South African, Indian, and BBS is there too.  None of them seem to understand what I’m saying.  I’d like a Terry Wogan Siri.  Nice and soothing and liable to make a cheeky joke or two while it figures out what I’m actually asking.  For a refreshing change, chose Irish Bloke Siri for MacBook, which is in one of the forty shades of green afterall.  Irish Bloke Siri is younger than Terry Wogan ever was, has dark hair, green eyes and a cheeky grin.  A couthy sort, in a cream Aran sweater, faded jeans and stout manly shoes.  The sort who never winks and can fix a leaky tap.  Cancerian, for sure.

Asked Australian Bloke Siri to sing ‘Waltzing Matilda’.   However, Australian Bloke Siri is a smartarse, and just played it in Apple music.  Foiled again.  Hope that isn’t going to be added to the ‘Home’ favourites instead of every Kate Bush album.

I wonder, is there a pre-dominant star sign using the internet which AI is copying and stealing from?  Will most AI machines have, say Geminian characteristics?  Duplicitous types who only dabble.  They for sure aren’t practical and dry-witted Capricorns.

Alexa, on the other hand, is a horse of a different colour.  My cousins’ kids ask Alexa to fart; it asks if they want a long fart or a short fart.  Alexa, total Sagittarian.
