You ever died in your dreams? Ever met a celebrity?

For me.. one lion mauling and one apartment block fall

Chris Robinson, Ray Davies, Terence Stamp.

Glad I'm not the only one with celebs in my dreams. I was beginning to think I was very shallow.

Never died but hit the bottom of the pit in one of those falling dreams. Apparently you're supposed to have a heart attack when that happens. I also zoomed in on myself in a crowd and came face to face. Again that's meant to be fatal. I did meet a celebrity lion, who was a cross between a real lion and a heraldic one. He was considered famous in the dream.

I've had many dreams in which people were shooting at me while I was running for the border, usually one of those checkpoint bridges from every Cold War movie ever made. However, I never died, never got shot, and....the dream always ended before I got to the other side... ...no celebrities....but I did see Robin Cook in Liverpool Street Station a couple of years ago, if that counts. I was awake at the time, though wished I had been asleep...he's a scarry-looking little squirt in person.

I'm always under attack in dreams but generally wake up just before dying. My dream life is littered with celebrities. Only last week I had to throw Liam Gallagher out for relieving himself in my bath. Death or fame, I don't know which one worries me most.

I've heard it said that if you die in your dreams you never wake up. I used to run alot and had loads of dreams about trying to run but having to crawl because my legs wouldn't work. That's because your legs are asleep. No celebs though.

Yeah, but there's no way to verify that, is there? I've also heard that if you fall or jump off a tall building, you will die before hitting bottom, but again, no way to verify it. I do know, however, that if you die in your sleep, you never wake up.

I've died loads of times. I've been eaten alive and shot and fallen from planes and buildings. I've had nightmares that have kept me from the dark and sleep for days. Always very real, smells, sounds and no jump cuts. the pain is always real and I've often woken up in real pain from tensing up in my sleep from reacting to the pain. Not nice at all. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Anyone who never dreams is blessed indeed.

I remember having a real strange dream when I was a kid, where a dodo with the biggest beak ever flew out of our pond and ate me...

Ely, Can relate to all that stuff. Wonder what causes it. Semi woke up the other morning and saw myself being shot in the head across from my bed.. couldn't tell who the killer was but it was very strange ..also had the feeling between sleep and waking that my body.. especially the position of my legs are being moved by a force that definitely isn't me. My grandfather on my mother's side went nuts.. so I'm sure these are all indications of what might happen to me.. I think senility scares me more than death. Paul, the new tag is the S.Korean me. It's basically the same me but in a different scene (what the @!#$ are u on about?? right .. back to teaching the brats)

Senility is frightening. My mother was seriously so for about a year before she died. I visited her in the nursing home (almost exactly five years ago) and what I noticed about her, and it seemed about the others as well, is that they had strong emotional memories for certain things, typically things with which they had probably been obssessed for many years. They also had clear memories of being young children because, my theory anyway, they were preparing to make the final journey home. I already have clear memories about being a small child, so that's nothing new. What scares me, though, is the thought of having nothing left by old unresolved obsessions. Think about that one for a while. Brrrr.

Is Terence Stamp dead? oh no it cannot be true. When I get home from work I shall watch Superman II and cry myself into drink.

Stupid me. Just woke up. Died in your dreams, eh? I once had sex with Cher in a dream but I was 13. So you could say I died in my dream and emt a celebrity. So happy that Terence is still alive that I am going to watch Superman II and drink to his rebirth.

Just watched the last half of The Limey on some dodgy satellite channel. Terence Stamp is a god.. in my dream he showed me the chords to 'This Land is Our Land' and we had a cup of tea.. it was nice. Not horrible at all. Ray Davies was a different story altogether.. he was incredibly drunk or stoned and just rambled on and on until I asked him to leave my house.. "This is my house!" he said and I think we argued for a while about who's house it was.. I woke up confused and took my best of Kinks tape and hid it in a drawer out of the way. I met Chris Robinson in an underground carpark (I'd just watched Eddie Izzard's mock documentary on speed archaology.. which I think influenced the dream to a great extent.) Chris Robinson is the lead singer of the Atlantan boogie band 'The Black Crowes' if anyone remembers them.. anyhow.. that was nice too.
