Guys: Thrush is a fungal infection, it's not just young women who get it by any means, and it's not necessarily "caught" because it's not really a disease, more of a naturally-occurring "guest" on all of us which can get out of control for varying reasons. If the female in your life gets thrush it's not funny, apart from her irritation there's the little matter of a) no sex, for obvious reasons, b) no alcohol, beacuse you'll have to take the antibiotics too - you might have picked it up already The only meagre positive is that she might take to wearing stockings instead of tights, which aren't recommended in the circumstances. But don't count on it, she might take to ankle socks like an extra in "Happy Days". Heck, why am I posting this, you can find this explained better on medical websites.
