Tea Towels
I've just done the washing up. I did the drying up with my Elvis tea-towel (circa 1956).
Tell me: What's on your tea-towel?
What is a tea towel.
Do they have them in tee-pee's?
A small towel for drying crockery with, often bought as novelty items with interesting pictures or twee poems on them. Some people even hang them up in picture frames, but those people are best avoided.
Mine (featuring a rather dull nautical type rope pattern around the edge) doesn't seem to have survived moving house, so plates just drip dry on the draining board at the moment.
Okay, so over here this would be a dish towel. Mine has pizza sauce on it. No wait...that's my shirt.
Mine says 'Rick Stein woz 'ere'.
I've got two - a Hers and a Hers.
( i laughed at that!)
Most of the ones here are gingham pattern of various colours. I've read somewhere that tea towels are the most unhygenic item in the kitchen, unless you have a cat or dog, in which case it's the area they park their arse in.
I must warn you, Lisa, I'm attracted to women who laugh at my jokes...
One of mine has the faces of a particular famous Scientist and his most recognizable but mostly miss understood Equation.
No prizes for guessing who?
It was a present, so not my doing.
How sad is that!
Dare'nt tell you whats on the others..
Exjasperated's equation?
Very Exjasperated!
I'm working up to the final solution though.
that towel is for drying large German beer glasses, one at a time John...
think about it, come on, not funny or clever but I've been plastering all day and my shoulders hurt.
hahaha..
It took me a bit of time ely, but I got their in the end.
I think?
a little pizza, a little swarfega, always some cheese, a little coal dust, dog hairs in two lengths bacon juice that I couldn't be bothered to wash off the scissors when i opened the the pack of bacon, and a miniature universe populated by mutated DNA of mine and living off the bounty I just mentioned.
every week I play God and destroy them in the washing machine and start a new civilization, it gives me a huge feeling of power and clean tea towels
actually I call them pot towels as any self respecting Northerner would do.
The pink ones have "YSL", the blue ones "Armani"
The tea bags are Gucci.
[%sig%]
cartoon dogs with "woof" scrawled beneath them..? That's odd..I never really checked before
